Printer Settings – Quick Start Guide

Easily set up and manage your printers in SOH Partner Hub. This guide covers supported models, adding printers, network setup, and troubleshooting.

1. Supported Printers

  • Epson LAN Printers (ePOS compatible)
  • Windows Printers (connected to your device; requires SOH Partner Hub app running)

Compatible Epson Models:
TM-m30 (all), TM-T20II/III, TM-T82II/III, TM-T88V/VI, TM-T70II, TM-T90II, TM-U220, TM-P20/P60II/P80 (mobile)
Most Epson receipt printers with ePOS and LAN/Ethernet support will work. Always check your model’s documentation.

2. Adding a Printer (Step-by-Step)

  1. Go to Settings > Printer Settings in the app.
  2. Click Add Printer.
  3. In the drawer, fill out:
    • Printer Type: Epson LAN Printer or Windows Printer
    • Printer IP Address: (Epson LAN only)
    • Printer Name: e.g. “Kitchen Epson”
    • Assign to Location: Order Screen, Kitchen Display, or Delivery Station (each can only be assigned once)
  4. (Epson LAN only) Use Test Connection and Test Print to check setup.
  5. Click Save Settings.
  • After Adding:
    • Use Receipt Settings on each printer card to set Auto Print and number of receipts (1–5).
    • Edit or delete printers using the buttons on each card.
    • Printer status (Online/Offline/Unknown) is shown for Epson LAN printers.

3. Finding Your Epson Printer’s IP Address

  • Connect to LAN:
    • Plug an Ethernet cable from the printer to your router/switch.
    • Power on and wait for the printer to finish starting up.
  • Print Network Status Slip:
    • Hold the Feed button, power the printer OFF then ON, keep holding until it prints.
    • The slip will show the IP address (e.g. IP Address: 192.168.x.x).
    • For TM-U220: Hold Feed, power ON, release after printing starts.
    • For mobile models: See the user manual for the button combo.
  • If you see 0.0.0.0 or no IP:
    • Check the LAN cable and router.
    • Make sure your network uses DHCP.
    • Try resetting network settings (see printer manual).

4. Testing & Troubleshooting

  • Use Test Print to confirm setup.
  • If a printer is offline, double-check the IP (for LAN) or that the Windows printer is installed and the app is running.
  • Each location can only be assigned to one printer at a time.
  • For more help, see the Troubleshooting section or contact support.
